Tilco Produces a range of primary shank systems from the legendary Hyrdamax to our standard shearpin range there is a primary tillage option for all requirements. All of our fabricated shank systems are made in Australia!
HYDRAMAX SERIES 3
Since 2003, HYDRAMAX has been the industry leader in hydraulic breakout shank systems. The revolutionary 'Dual Jump' design allows the shank to travel a minimum of 550mm jump height to clear the largest obstructions. Paired with a standard 750mm under frame shank or optionally a 960mm underframe shank, ripping up to 700 mm is achievable. Available for 178x178mm and 250x250mm toolbars.
All Tilco shanks have milled and drilled section to take a variety of accessories including mulch blades, inclusion plates, furrowers and bed formers. All our shanks are cut and processed in Australia.
HYDRAMAX SINGLE JUMP
A slightly more economical hydraulic assembly more suitable for previously cutter bared and cultivated country the single jump is available for 100x100mm, 150x150mm and 178x178mm toolbars.
RIGID SHANKS
Shear pin breakout on a variety of clamp and tyne configurations to suit row crop, broadacre, deep tillage, and more. Standard breakout of 4.5T.
TITAN
The Titan shank assembly features variable shear pin holes to suit 8T, 10T and 12T breakout force the most robust shank in our rigid range.
The semi-parabolic design reduces draft while the milled sections on the back allow for the fitting of accessories such as mulch blades, furrowers or inclusion plates.
ADJUSTABLE SHANKS
Shear pin breakout shank systems on a tool-assisted height adjustment that allows anyone to make in-field depth adjustments. Ideal for furrowing operations. Standard breakout of 4.5T.
Secondary Shank Systems
- Tilco produces a vast range of 2"x1" and 3"x1" Shanks in straight, cranked and milled configurations.
- Our special heat treatment and hardening process makes a far superior shank than others, giving longer life and less headaches than untreated spring steel shanks.
- Our range of shank bases accept everything from friction trips to furrowers to fert knives
- Tilco also manufactures a large range of tillage accessories such as gas deltas, fertiliser and seed tubes, direct drill points and more.
- Multiple mounting arrangements and toolbar clamp styles are available on request.
Shear Release for 178x178
Tilco clamp systems to suit 178x178mm or 100x100mm toolbar for 75x25mm shanks are designed for easy adjustment.
When paired with our 9 hole shank our clamps offer 250mm adjustment in 12.5mm increments.
Shear Release for 100x100
Shear release assemblies are fitted with a 4T breakout shear pin to protect your tooling and prevent damage to the toolbar.
Rigid clamp for 100x100
Rigid clamps offer the same 250mm of vertical adjustment more suited to lighter work, or less demanding tooling.
Hardened Spring Steel
Our purpose made 3x1 shanks are the hardest spring steel shank in the industry. Available with friction trip holes or 50 degree cultivator bases or zero till point adaptors.
